Ever wonder where the name "Lucifer" came from? "Luci" means light (as in "Translucent"). "Fer" is a source of something (as in "Aquafer".) So, Lucifer is a source of light.

Not exactly what you would think of as a moniker for the embodiment of evil. I wonder what the story behind that is. I'm not a theologist, and I'm too lazy to look it up so I guess I'll never know.
