Today's comic pretty much sums up how I assure my cats' welfare when I go away for a few days. Basically, though a lot of cat owners don't like to admit it: cats don't really need you. They're quite adept at taking care of themselves. If you set them up with an infinite food and water supply, they'll be just fine.

Though, being the worry-wart that I am, I'm only willing to do that for 3 days or less. Anything more, and I get someone to check up on them.

Minor production detail: In panel 3, before I put Einstein in the frame, I had a nice pic of Frances Cleveland. I changed my mind on it because a) Einstein is more instantly recognizeable, and b) After Andy's behavior in the past, Satan would be unlikely to allow such a picture to be posted.
