Stuff we know about Jenn:

1) she carries jewels with her
http://www.galactanet.com/comic/633.htm

2) she has a criminal record with Interpol
http://www.galactanet.com/comic/455.htm

3) she's willing to comit armed robbery
http://www.galactanet.com/comic/157.htm

4) she has a "surprisingly large" balance in her bank account
http://www.galactanet.com/comic/581.htm

5) She can apparently open locks.
http://www.galactanet.com/comic/622.htm

Theory : Jenn is actually a daring safecracker/ jewel thief, and wanted in several countries.

just thinking about a lot of strange stuff. If you had such a large improbability curve such as Jenn, you would do something to insure your ability to carry jewels. So somewhere in her travels she has had to learn to be resourceful. I think that the different dimensions she happens across caused her to reevaluate her position in the grand scheme of things (If one does exist). So, She is willing to commit herself to learn anything that will be to her advantage to sway the advantage in her direction. So at some point she became a true bard (writer, and theif). this argument can be justified when she dresses as a man to support herself.

AS large as there is an improbability curve there is to her, I'm surprised that nobody's harnessed her energy to build a more perfect Improbability Drive...Where's a two headed, three armed drunkard when you don't need him? Probably at a bar, I'd assume...

Might want to stay away then.

Yumm... Improbability drives....

Yumm... Custard.

I, my self, prefer General Gao's Chicken...had some tonight and made the following remark: "My hat's off to the General and his army of Spicy Chicken. Certaintly much better than any of Sergent Pepper's Turkeys."

...

I think this thread may have degenerated into randomness...but is that so much of a move down the ladder as it is a daring leap to a different ladder from across the alley? Certaintly not daring, but you get my point.

Wow, now that Mr. Castle turned out to be right, I bet you'all out there who doubted him feel stupid.

I know I do, not for doubting him, which I did not, but for not figuring it all out by myself.

But then I guess Physics class isn't the best place to try and read comics...

Good Job Norman.

I don't think I was even around to doubt!

Good job.

Wow! I missed all the clues. Norman, I'm very impressed.

But now I'm confused: if QCop knows about Jenn, why didn't he arrest her a long time ago?

Cause it's a comic strip. It is permitted to ignore rules of logic for comedic effect. You might as well ask why isn't Andy doing 20 years for all the times QC caught him robbing the Fremont bank. Or why he isn't dead.

Just because he knows it doesn't mean he can prove it.

Right, like there's something QC can't prove!

Alternate theory: QC is in love with Jenn. He can't be with her because she's a criminal, so he resists all her advances. At the same time, he can't bring himself to arrest her.

Question is why this contradiction doesn't drive him to suicide, a la Javert in Les Mis. But maybe C&A just isn't that deep.

Jenn being an international thief kind of destroys the normal-girl-next-door-ness about her, though, which I always thought was the essence of her character.

Well, it wasn't revealed until now, only hinted at, and it is the last arc...
